- **2026-10-08** — Strip identified: 3-wire, individually addressable, cut lines every LED → 5 V WS2812B. Data pin: GPIO 2.
- First wiring (4×5): only LED 1 lit → wire overhung a solder pad and crossed an LED leg (short). Fixed.
- Random single-LED color changes → loose connection. Rebuilt as 2×8 + 1×4 with cleaner routing; 10-min soak test clean.
